Stephen Wise Free Synagogue was one of Farm2Me’s first major donors when we began operations in 2012. Almost ten years later, we’re looking to expand our Crypto Endowment because we know how much impact these investments could yield. We’re looking to raise $100,000 in crypto by December 2021. $100 of crypto will provide to our community hundreds of nutritious meals and help us expand to new markets. Be part of the movement to ensure everyone eats!
Cryptocurrency donation
Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. This makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax efficient ways to support your favorite cause. If you want to learn more about how donating crypto can lower your taxes, check out thegivingblock.com/faq. Talk to a crypto-savvy tax professional or connect with The Giving Block to get connected with one.
We accept the following cryptocurrencies:
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Amp (AMP), Basic Attention Token (BAT), ChainLink (LINK), Dai (DAI), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Storj (STORJ), Zcash (ZEC), 0x (ZRX), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Is my donation secure?
YES. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations.
Is my information secure?
YES. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
YES. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit project and public charity. We are a tax-exempt organization. Your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email as the donation receipt for your official records. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Do I get a receipt?
A charitable contribution letter will serve as your receipt for your donation. It will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form.
Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.
